Frequently Asked Questions
How many hours per week of consultation will be provided? Consultation hours are individualized to the needs of the client and family. There is no set number of hours weekly or monthly to work together. Recommendations will be made to set up a consultation model that optimizes client progress and growth.
Do you have behavior interventionists (BIs) on staff or help families find BIs? I do not directly employ BIs. I help families find BIs by connecting them with BIs I am currently working with, referrals from colleagues, or by placing ads to hire BIs locally.
What are your available hours for scheduling appointments? I am available for in person or telehealth appointments 9-5, Monday to Friday. Appointments outside of these hours may be scheduled if needed with enough notice.
What forms of payment do you accept? I am a RASP-A professional and bill directly to the Autism Funding Unit. If families have extended health that covers BCBA designations, or other sources of funding (Variety, At-Home Funding etc.) these can also be used to cover the costs of my services. I also accept e-transfers for direct payment.
Can we schedule an initial meeting to determine if this is the right fit? Yes! I offer a zoom or phone 'meet + greet' to determine if I am the right fit for your family or if I can better help by providing a referral to another qualified professional.
What is the cost / process for assessment? Assessments are individualized to client and family needs, however they may include gathering information from caregivers, schools, daycares, and direct assessment sessions with the individual.
Are you currently accepting clients? I am currently accepting clients depending on location. Reach out and we can connect to discuss your needs!
